International Card Manufacturers Association Announces Schedule for 2014 EXPO

PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – February 5, 2014 – The International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA) will hold its annual Card Manufacturing and Personalization EXPO, April 6-9, 2014 at the Harbor Beach Marriott Resort and Spa in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA.

The EXPO provides transaction and ID card manufacturers, issuers, personalizers and industry suppliers with opportunities to exchange ideas and knowledge about sustaining the industry’s growth and ongoing contributions to the global economy.

Keynote speaker Michael Rogers, The Practical Futurist columnist for MSNBC and former Futurist-in-Residence at the New York Times, will address future influences tailored to the card manufacturing and personalization industry.

The ICMA EXPO features topics that cover all aspects of card manufacturing and personalization including market trends, future technologies and their impact on manufacturing, EMV as well as production specific topics covering materials, printing, lamination and more. Personalization topics will include TSM, quality control, pin management and more.

The ICMA EXPO also features the Élan Awards of Excellence celebrating the industry’s outstanding card designs and technical achievements, as well as abundant opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange.

Advanced Card Education (ACE) training sessions for the ICMA ACE-M (manufacturing) and ACE-P (personalization and fulfillment) professional accreditation will be held during the event. The ACE designation certifies card industry professionals who have demonstrated abilities and knowledge in technologies and processes in specific card manufacturing or personalization/fulfillment areas. ACE accreditation generates customer recognition of an individual’s credibility and professional knowledge.
