ICMA Board Leadership Transitions Mark New Chapter for Association
The International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA) is entering a new chapter in its board leadership as Thomas Tarantino of Giesecke + Devrient GmbH steps down as president of the ICMA Board of Directors after serving in the role since 2023. Following his term as president, Tarantino has moved into the Past President position, continuing his service to the association and the global card industry.
ICMA also extends sincere thanks to Michael Dorner of Variuscard, after serving as Past President. His leadership, service and long-standing commitment to the association have helped support ICMA’s mission and strengthen its role within the global card industry.
Looking ahead, Megan Anthony Bogard, formerly vice president, was elected to serve as president of the ICMA Board of Directors. In addition, Karen Brooker of Marketing Card Technology was elected to the vice president seat, helping round out the board’s executive leadership team.
This year, three additional board seats were filled. Tiffany Milbrandt, formerly of CardSource and previously a personalizer representative on the board, was elected to the Principal – North America seat and now represents Duracard. Ike Vander Horst of Thomas Greg & Sons was reelected to the Principal – Latin America seat and Dori Rombola of Infineon was reelected to the Associate – North America seat.
ICMA extends its sincere appreciation to all board members for their volunteer leadership, service and commitment to strengthening the association for its members and the broader global card industry. Their contributions are instrumental in advancing ICMA’s mission and helping shape the future of the industry.
