ACE-M Designee Total Rises to 67
PRINCETON JUNCTION, NJ – April 16, 2013 –Bringing the total number of program graduates to 67, the International Card Manufacturers Association (ICMA) announced that 20 new members have successfully passed its ACE-M exam, an assessment that not only covers the general processes of card manufacturing but also puts member companies at the forefront of the industry by elevating and validating their expertise.
The ACE examination validates the expertise of individuals and employees in the card manufacturing industry, while also aiming to increase customer confidence in the buying process. The designation evaluates the skills and knowledge of card manufacturing professionals and is comprised of eight key sections, including PVC/Plastics, Inks, Adhesives, Printing, Collation, Lamination, Die-cutting and Standards/Testing.
While applicants must meet the criteria of working for an ICMA member company and having a minimum amount of experience in the industry, this year’s designees all participated in ICMA’s interactive training session led by ICMA Standards and Technical Representative, David Tushie, to learn the best preparation methods for the exam.
