Swiss Wood Solutions AG (SWS) is a business and technology incubator specialized in novel wood-based businesses and products with a strong focus on certified product quality and audited sustainability. New businesses are evaluated and products are developed until they reach the required level of maturity and are then spun off into a subsidiary, joint venture or partner company.
As a first relevant business, SWS has invented the card body for the world’s first certified plastic-free wooden banking card. Together with our partners, DG Nexolution eG/Germany and PCI-certified Raiffeisendruckerei GmbH/ Germany, we recently entered a strategic cooperation to make our biodegradable and highly sustainable cards a globally available product in the payment and non-payment business.
