ICMA Brings the Card Manufacturing Lifecycle Full Circle with Production 360

Event for Card Plant Personnel Set for May 15-16 in Orlando, Florida

PRINCETON JUNCTION, N.J.—March 21, 2024—The International Card Manufacturing Association (ICMA)’s new Production 360 experience brings the card manufacturing lifecycle full circle, uniting general managers, engineers, designers and other card plant personnel with industry innovators, leading-edge technology providers and supplier partners for networking opportunities and educational presentations to help solve plant challenges and move card manufacturing forward.

Production 360 will take place from May 15-16 at the Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld in Orlando, Florida. The cost for ICMA members to attend is $550 and the cost for non-members is $750.

“Education is paramount to overcoming the vast amount of challenges manufacturers face daily, and the Production 360 experience delivers a healthy combination of forward-looking insights and technical knowledge,” said Jeffrey Barnhart, ICMA founder and executive director.

The first half day of seminars starts at 1 p.m. on May 15 and includes the following presentations:

  • Exploring Bonding Approaches on Eco-Friendly Card Materials: Comments of a Bonding Engineer, Christoph Krämer, Senior Market Manager Cards & Security, BU Technical Products, Lohmann GmbH & Co. KG
  • Advanced Printing Technologies to Empower Security Features of Physical Secure Credentials, Ferdinando Filippone, Head of Operations, IXLA LLC
  • Ensuring Profitability in Card Manufacturing, George E. Daddis Jr. PhD, CEO/President, Bristol ID Technologies
  • Card and Device Personalization Validation Certification: Self-Testing, Barnes International

The second half day of seminars starts at 9 a.m. on March 16 and includes the following presentations:

  • Digital Intelligence Brings ROI to Card Personalization & Issuance, Zain Aleem, Director Business Analysis & Consulting, Entrust
  • Coextruding Toward the Future, Pietro Parmeggiani, General Manager, SPICA Srl
  • ACE: The Answer to Improving Hiring and Employee Retention, David Tushie, ICMA Standards and Technical Representative, Magellan Consulting Inc.

Production 360 attendees will also have scheduled access to the exhibit hall where participants will have an opportunity to meet a wide array of equipment, material and other technology providers. The event will also feature ICMA’s Élan Awards of Excellence ceremony and dinner on the evening of May 15. The awards celebrate the pinnacle of design innovation, security and technical achievements in the card industry.

Noon to 6 p.m. – ICMA ACE-M Training Session

Friday, May 17
8 a.m. to noon – ICMA ACE-M Exam (proctored by ICMA staff)
